Her greatest passion in life was children. Margaret cared for and nurtured her own family of seven as well as five foster children and babysat many, many more. She took them into her home and provided a warm and safe haven for them all. Margaret gave of her time freely as a community volunteer as well as a Brownie leader. She began in the Guiding movement as a trainee and went through the ranks to become Brown Owl for the local Brownie organization. She was a long standing member of the CWL (Catholic Women’s League).
Margaret will be remembered by all who knew her as a caring and loving woman who gave selflessly for the betterment of every person she came to know.
