1917 - 2011

Daisy Edna Nevil (nee Treece), beloved wife of the late Elwood Nevil, passed away in Taber on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at the age of 94 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
A Private Family Service will be held at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, November 24, 2011 with Reverend Sandra Riddell officiating. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
Daisy leaves to cherish her memory sons Albert (Leona) of Lethbridge and Richard (Sharmaine) of Taber; daughters Sharon (Tom) Wright of Medicine Hat, Joan (Ray) Collett of Taber and Colleen (Carl) Wojtowicz of Lethbridge; daughter-in-law Kay Nevil of Cranford; fourteen grandchildren, twenty eight greatgrandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Ruth Holthe of Taber as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Elwood; son Arnold; parents Albert and Elizabeth Treece; sister Jessie Jensen; brother-in-law Norman Holthe.
Daisy was born and raised in Purple Springs. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting and needle work. Daisy loved to prepare delicious Sunday dinners for her family. She also enjoyed doing word puzzles and listening to country music. Daisy worked at the Clearview Lodge for a number of years. More than anything else, Daisy enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed.
