Harold Gow

1916 - 1999

Earl Hastings Gow of Vauxhall passed away peacefully in Taber Continuing Care on December 23, 1999 at the age of 83 years.
Harold is survived by his four children Harry, Jeffrey, Bill and John; sister Eva of Surrey, British Columbia; brother Clarence of Vauxhall; sister-in-law Violet of Vauxhall and also by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Harold was predeceased by his parents John and Mary Gow, brothers Gordon, Frank and Cecil, sister Pearl, step brother Loftus, great niece Tracy Gow, great nephew Jeffrey Haley and daughter Ruth.
Harold was born on may 3, 1916 at Hazenmore, Saskatchewan. He came by train from Nippawa, Saskatchewan to Vauxhall in 1940 to work for Dick Brown. After working a few jobs he then worked for the Town of Vauxhall for twenty one years until retirement. Harold resided at Taber Continuing Care from April 1997 until the time of his passing.
The Funeral Service was held at Parkview United Church, Vauxhall on Monday, December 27, 1999 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Yvonne Mills officiating. Interment followed at the Vauxhall Cemetery.
