LOUISE JENSEN
1924 - 2001
Louise Jensen of Purple Springs, Alberta, beloved wife of the late Marion Jensen, passed away unexpectedly in Calgary on Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at the age of 76 years.
Louise was born on October 4, 1924 in Medicine Hat and was raised near Grassy Lake where she attended the Morning Star School. She married Marion Jensen on April 26, 1941. Louise was a quiet, reserved and private person. She loved to have fun. Her passions in life were bowling, gardening, bird watching, crocheting, reading and music.
Louise will be forever missed by her children Annette (Jake) Hendricks of Lethbridge, Jerry (Margie) Jensen of Purple Springs and Monte (Lisa) Jensen of Purple Springs; daughter-in-law Jean Jensen of Taber; ten grandchildren Louise Stobbs, Sherry Parker, Laura Sebok, Veronica (Mike) Unser, Kandi (Pat) Journoud, Scott (Theresa) Jensen, Michelle (Alvin) Banman, Josalynn, Dustin and Jeffrey Jensen; seventeen great grandchildren; sister Joyce (Morris) Nelson; brothers Ron (Rosie) Knibb, Vernon (Helen) Knibb and Edgar (Norma) Knibb; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Marion Jensen, son Ron Jensen and parents Fern and Stella Knibb (Marthaller).
The Funeral Service was held at Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, March 24, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Jim Lochhead officiating. Interment followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
