HAROLD OLSON

1922 - 1999

Harold Gordon Olson passed away peacefully in Taber on Monday, October 4, 1999 at the age of 77 years.
Harold Gordon Olson was born in Enchant on January 2, 1922 the son of Ole and Nellie Olson. He received his schooling at Sundial and later farmed in the Enchant area. Harold enjoyed sporting activities and like to play baseball and curling and lived life to the fullest. Since 1994, Harold has resided at the Clearview Lodge in Taber.
Harold will be fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters Esther Gillespie of Enchant, Clifford Olson of Enchant, Emily (Les) Howg of Lethbridge, Donald (June) Olson of Stratford, Ontario, Howard (Jean) Olson of Vauxhall, Herman (Lillian) Olson of Vauxhall as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Harold was predeceased by his father Ole in 1957; his mother Nellie in 1984; a brother-in-law Charlie Gillespie in 1968; and two sisters-in-law Eleanor Olson in 1983 and Elva Olson in 1999.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, October 8, 1999 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at the Enchant Community Hall, Enchant on Saturday, October 9, 1999 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Yvonne Mills officiating. Interment followed at the Enchant Cemetery.
