RAYMOND ODDAN

1926 - 1999

Raymond Oddan of Taber, beloved husband of Hilda Oddan, passed away on Monday, September 13, 1999 at the age of 73 years.
Raymond was born, raised and educated at Kincorth, Saskatchewan. He married Hilda Roth of Fox Valley, Saskatchewan on January 19, 1954. Raymond farmed as well as being a autobody mechanic. He loved to laugh, enjoyed a good joke and always was willing to give more than he took. His interests in life were old time music, antique cars and motorcycles and his passion was inventing, creating and building. Raymond will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family.
Besides his loving wife Hilda, he is survived by his three children Linda of Coaldale; Larry (Sylvia) Oddan and their children Charlyn, James and Jessica of Coaldale and Les (Karen) Oddan and their children Dylan and Kaitlyn of Taber; four brothers Orval (Elsie) of Marshal, Saskatchewan, Edward (Theresa) of Calgary, Lawrence (Doreen) of Medicine Hat and Leonard (Loretta) of Maple Creek, Saskatchewan.
He was predeceased by his parents Engeman and Julia and a brother Ernest.
The Funeral Service was held at the Peace Lutheran Church, 4619 - 56 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, September 16, 1999 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Brian Amison officiating. Interment followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
