MURIEL VAN DEN BOSCH
1907 - 1999
Muriel Van Den Bosch of Taber, beloved wife of the late Paul Van Den Bosch, passed away in Taber on Tuesday, August 3, 1999 at the age of 92 years.
Muriel was born at Swanmore, England on March 3, 1907. She came to Canada in 1910 with her father James Stapleton and sister Lena settling in Regina. She worked at Grey Nuns Hospital in Regina where she met Fred Wrobel whom she married in 1927 and in 1940 he predeceased her. In 1944 she married Paul Van Den Bosch and they operated a greenhouse in Regina known as Paul’s Place. Paul was known as the blind gardener. In 1975 Paul & Muriel Van Den Bosch moved to Taber where Paul passed away in 1985.
Muriel is survived by her daughters Beatrice Osterman of Taber and Marjorie Hnetka of Regina; twelve grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Margaret Wrobel of Regina and sister-in-law Marjorie Van Den Bosch of Penticton.
She was predeceased by her first husband Fred; second husband Paul; four son-in-laws John Piea, Larry Kratt Sr., Herman Osterman and Leo Hnetka; twin sons Roy and Ray Wrobel and a granddaughter Muriel Piea.
A Prayer Service was held at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, August 6, 1999 at 8:00 P.M.
A Prayer Service was also held at Speers Funeral Chapel, Regina, Saskatchewan on Sunday, August 8, 1999 at 2:00 P.M. Interment followed at Riverside Memorial Park, Regina.
