ALLARD ALBERT

1914 - 2002

Allard Joseph Albert was called to be with our Lord, on Friday, October 18, 2002 at the age of 88 years.
Allard was born October 3, 1914 in Retlaw, Alberta. In 1940 he married Henriette DeLinte. They farmed in the Retlaw area until moving to Taber in 1960. Allard was well known for his mastery carpentry and his years as a member of the musical group "The Melody Four". Allard enjoyed camping and spent many hours in his workshop building everything from cabinets to a doll house. Allard was predeceased by his wife, Henriette in 1990 and his only child, Alvin in 1993. Allard will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Renee (Jason) Feist and Jay (Anjie) Albert of Pincher Creek, Alberta. He also leaves behind six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. So long to the camping grandpa.
The Graveside Service was held at the Taber Memorial Garden, Taber, on Tuesday, October 22, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. with Deacon Mike Whalen of St. Augustine’s Catholic Church officiating.
