KEN MARUYAMA

1930 - 2002

Ken Peter Maruyama of Taber, beloved husband of Yasue Maruyama, passed away in Lethbridge on Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at the age of 71 years.
Besides his wife Yas, Ken will be forever remembered by his daughters, Laura (Ben) Maruyama and Connie Maruyama; his grandchildren, Jarrid Tamtom and Jayna Tamtom; brothers and sisters, Katy (Tak - deceased) Kano , Norma Maruyama, Gen (Marge) Maruyama, Paul (May) Maruyama, Jack (Anna Mae) Maruyama, Daisy (Jim) Oshiro, Sat (Shirley) Maruyama, Jane Maruyama and Wayne (Lorraine) Maruyama as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Kiichi and Tsuruyo Maruyama and a brother, Tuck (Ty) Maruyama.
The Funeral Service was held at Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, July 6, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend George Takashima officiating. Interment followed in the Taber Memorial Garden.
