CATHY WERNER

1955 - 1999

Cathy Elizabeth Werner, beloved wife of Egon Werner and mother of Cara & Curtis of Taber, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 1999 at the age of 44 years.
Cathy was born at Islay, Alberta on January 30, 1955 the daughter of William and Kathleen King. She received her schooling at Rockyford and Calgary graduating from James Fowler High School. Cathy furthered her education graduating as a Registered Psych Nurse (RPN). She began her career in Stettler where she remained for a few years before moving to Taber in 1981. The following year on May 29, 1982 she married Egon Werner and have continued to reside in Taber. Cathy was employed with Alberta Mental Health for twenty three years.
Besides her husband Egon and two beautiful children Cara and Curtis, Cathy leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Kathleen King of Calgary; a sister Cheryle (Billy) Rieger of Rockyford and a brother Grant (Tina) King of Chestermere Lake; her mother-in-law Amelia Werner of Brooks; sisters-in-law Elenore (Ian) Better of Brooks, Krista (Dave) Blair of Okotoks and Margaret Werner of Medicine Hat as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Cathy was predeceased by her father William King; an infant son Evan; her father-in-law Erich Werner and a brother-in-law Ed Werner.
The Funeral Service was held at St. Theodore’s Anglican Church, 5120 - 44 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, July 10, 1999 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Dale Lang officiating.
