1932 - 2008

Louis Joseph Cyr passed away in Lethbridge on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the age of 75 years.
He is survived by his brother Armand (Ellen) Cyr of Grande Prairie; two sisters, Alice (Roland) Anderson of Hillcrest and Eva Wikenheiser of Lethbridge; Nieces & Nephews, Daniel (Laura) Anderson, Louise Anderson-Bossert, Darlene (Joe) Nemeth, Diane Horvath, James (Stacy) Anderson, Jeff (Tracy) Wikenheiser, Greg (Kim) Wikenheiser, Paula Cameron (Paul Beaudoin), Lisa Wikenheiser, Miles Cyr, Lex Cyr and Crystal Martin and their families.
Louis was born to Elizabeth & Eugene Cyr at Bow Island on November 5, 1932. He lived most of his life in the Burdett and Bow Island area, making many acquaintances and close friends. In 1999 he moved to Lethbridge to be closer to family.
Louis enjoyed touring the country side with his sister Eva. A good game of pool or crib was always a must! Louis will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 1101 - 1 Street East, Bow Island on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Fred Monk Celebrant. Burial to follow at the Bow Island Cemetery.
