1932 - 2008

Orest Chomyc, beloved husband of Lovie Chomyc of Taber, passed away in Taber on Friday, December 19, 2008 at the age of 76 years.
Orest is survived by his wife Lovie; son Robert (Sandra) Chomyc of Sherwood Park; grandsons Clarke and Calvin Chomyc; brother Nestor (Bonnie) Chomik; sister Helen Bodnar; step-sister Marie (Les) Tolman; step-brother John (Blanche) Budnik and sister-in-law Mary Budnik as well as numerous other relatives.
He was predeceased by his son Curtis; parents Metro and Rose Chomik; step-brother Billy Budnik and brother-in-law Edward Bodnar.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Frank Lewis officiating. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
