MARIE PERINI

1932 - 2002

Marie Joyce Perini, beloved wife of the late Tito Perini, passed away peacefully in Taber on Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at the age of 69 years following a courageous battle with cancer.
Joyce was born in Lethbridge on March 24, 1932 the daughter of Otto and Margaret Ringwald. At a young age she moved with her family to Taber where she was raised and received her schooling. On November 21, 1951 Joyce married Tito Perini and they began their lives together. Joyce and Tito celebrated 47 years of marriage before Tito’s passing away in 1999. Joyce led an active life and enjoyed spending her time travelling, fishing, gardening, playing bingo, painting as well as other arts and crafts. Joyce’s most enjoyable moments were the ones she spent with her children and grandchildren who will miss her dearly.
Joyce will be forever remembered by her children and grandchildren, Shelly Perini of Taber, Darrel (Bonnie) Perini of Taber (Scott and Kyla); Gail (Paul) Gulkiewich of Lethbridge (Kirsten and Kyle); Angie (Ben) Thiessen of Lethbridge (Tristan and Catlin); Lisa Perini (Glenn Racette) of Lethbridge; her sister Dixie (Lyle) Crowson of Vauxhall as well as numerous relatives. Besides her husband Tito, she was predeceased by her parents Otto and Margaret Ringwald.
Relatives and friends were invited for Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Sunday, March 3, 2002 at 7:30 P.M.
The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, March 4, 2002 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Jim de los Angeles Celebrant. Interment followed in the Taber Memorial Garden.
