STANLEY WILLS

1922 - 2003

Stanley John Wills, beloved husband of Arlene Wills of Taber, passed away at the Taber Hospital on Monday, March 17, 2003 at the age of 81 years.
Stan was born in Rimbey, Alberta on January 22, 1922. He was raised in Kelowna, British Columbioa where he resided until he enlisted in the army in 1942. Stan served his country fighting over seas. Following the war Stan returned to Kelowna where he was employed as a woodworker. He later married Lee Seabloom. Lee passed away in 1980. In 1986 he married Arlene Brown and they made Taber their home until Stan’s passing.
Stan is survived by his wife Arlene; his sister Mildred Roach; five step-children and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents William and Sarah Wills; his first wife Lee; brothers, Charles, William, Raymond, Rex and sisters, Ivy and Hazel.
The Funeral Service was held at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue Taber, on Thursday, March 20, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Jim Lochhead of the United Church of Canada officiating.
