JOHN GAEHRING

1900 - 1998

John Gaehring passed away peacefully in Breton on Saturday, November 7, 1998 at the age of 98 years.
John was born on October 28, 1900 in Harvey, North Dakota. In 1905 he moved with his parents, seven brothers and seven sisters to Foremost where his dad took up a homestead. John and Oscar moved to the Vauxhall and Retlaw area in 1929 where John farmed until 1979.
John leaves to cherish his memory his sons Dale (Carol) Gaehring, Larry (Judy) Gaehring and his daughter Sherrie (John) Mathewson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Winifred and great grandson Aron.
The Funeral Service was held at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, November 12, 1998 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Ken Crassweller officiating. Interment was held at the Taber Memorial Garden.
