DOROTHY CORVERS

1939 - 2011

 Dorothy Corvers, beloved wife of Reverend Jake Corvers, passed away peacefully in Taber on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at the age of 71 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
A private burial service will be held prior to the funeral service at the Taber Memorial Garden.
The Funeral Service will be held at the First Christian Reformed Church, 3902 Heritage Drive, Taber on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Jim Zondervan officiating.
Besides her loving husband Jake, she is survived by her daughter Patricia (Randy) Hoeksema of Taber; special daughter Ni (Sonny) Lam; grandchildren Jennifer (Greg) De Plancke, Kimberly (Matt) Le Blanc and Sam Lam; great granddaughters Natasha and Bridgette De Plancke. Dorothy is also survived by her siblings Charles (Carrie) Rawcliffe, Mike (Barbara) Rawcliffe, Barbara (Jim) Britton, Lynda (Gary) Climie, Karen (Fred) Murphy, William Rawcliffe and David (Cindy) Rawcliffe.
She was predeceased by her grandson Jason Hoeksema; parents Charles and Beatrice Rawcliffe; sister and brother-in-law Joanne (Rolly) Coutu.
