Frank B. Loewen of Taber, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 1998 at the age of 89 years.

Beloved husband of the late Helena Loewen and beloved father of Helen (Henry) Hiebert, Ann (Norman) Scutt, Maria (Ed) Fehr, Sadie (John) Warkentine, Betty (Ernest Samuel) Moline and Cornelius (Agatha) Loewen. Besides his loving children he is survived by thirty four grandchildren; seventy six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Helena; brother David Loewen; half brothers Abe Klassen and Bill Klassen; half sister Katherine; granddaughter Judy Warkentine; grandson Lonnie Moline; great granddaughter Sandi Peterson; great grandsons Lionel Larvie and Justin Lemky and son-in-law Isaac Warkentine.
Frank was born at Warman, Saskatchewan on May 1, 1909 and was the son of Bernhard & Anna Bergen Loewen. He married Helena Giesbrecht on July 5, 1931 and in 1956 they came to the Barnwell area. Helena predeceased him in 1988 and for the past eight years he has been a resident of the Clearview Lodge.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, July 24, 1998 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at the Taber Mennonite Church, at the corner of 50 Street and 56 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, July 25, 1998 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Nick Dyck officiating. Interment followed at the Barnwell Cemetery.
