1951 - 1998

Robert Gordon Haws of Taber, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 11, 1998 at the age of 46 years.
Robert has been a resident of Taber for the past few years having moved there from the Grande Prairie area. He was born in Brooks on June 11, 1951 and spent most of his earlier years on a farm in the Rainier district where he received his education. Employment opportunities drew him to Calgary where he spent a few years before moving to Grande Prairie to assist his brother-in-law on the farm.
Robert is survived by two sisters Joyce Litchfield of Raymond, Arlene Taylor Of Bountiful, Utah and a brother Allan Haws of Taber. He was predeceased by his father in 1982 and his mother in 1987.
The Funeral Service was held at the Raymond LDS Stake Center, Raymond on Tuesday, March 17, 1998 at 2:00 P.M. with Bishop Roger Baldry conducting. Interment followed at the Raymond Cemetery.
