ESTHER PUPP
1920 - 1998
Esther Pupp of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Joseph Pupp, passed away in Lethbridge on Friday, March 6, 1998 at the age of 77 years.
Esther was born on May 25, 1920 in Romania. She was a long time resident of Taber where she developed many friendships for the people she did work for as a professional seamstress. She was a member of the College of Regents in Women of Moose and a Life Member of the UCW, an honor which few people achieve. Esther was very family orientated and loved to spend time with her family, especially cooking for them. She was a very generous person, always available for her family and willing to help them however she could. Esther’s wishes were to have sixteen red roses placed on her casket, each rose signifying a member of her immediate family.
She is survived by three sons Joe (Joan) Pupp of Calgary, Alex (Joan) Pupp of Calgary and Bill (Terry) Pupp of Lethbridge; ten grandchildren Deidra, Kendall (Cindy), Scott (Cindy) and Brett (Corry); Brian, Jennifer and Andrew; Shauna, Jay-Dean and Nicole; sister Ethel Gammon; sister-in-law Mary Cseke; special friend Peter Kish, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph, brother Alex Cseke, brother-in-law Gordon Gammon.
Relatives and friends were invited to pay their respects and attend a Prayer Service at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, March 9, 1998 at 7:30 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, March 10, 1998 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Ken Crassweller officiating. Interment followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
