Kay Holst

1926 - 2017

It is with great sadness that the family of Kay Holst announces her passing into the hands of God on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the age of 90 years, in the presence of her loving family. An amazing woman who worked hard, loved deep and endured much, all while putting others first.

Relatives and friends were invited to Prayers at Assumption Catholic Church, 2405 - 12 Avenue South, Lethbridge on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 7:00 P.M.

The Funeral Mass was celebrated at Assumption Catholic Church, 2405 - 12 Avenue South, Lethbridge on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. Burial followed at Mountain View Cemetery.

Left with the fondest memories are her children Marie Kash of Edmonton, Linda Langlois of Leduc, Agnes (Bryan) Allen of Spruce Grove, Marlene (Richard) Burke of Lethbridge, Denise (Elwyn) Olson of Spruce Grove, Ken (Ruthanne) Holst of Taber; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Marie Holst, brothers John Stober, Robert Stober and by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband William Holst, granddaughter Shannon Langlois, sons-in-law John Langlois and Tom Kash, her parents and five brothers.

The family is sincerely grateful to the staff of Extendicare Fairmont for their years of devoted and compassionate care.
