1954 - 2011

Rebecca Hope Stevens, beloved wife of Tom Stevens of Hays, passed away unexpectedly at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the age of 56 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber, on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Hays Civic Centre, Hays, Alberta on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Rod Taylor officiating. Burial to follow at the Hays Cemetery.
Besides her loving husband Tom, she is survived by two children and eight grandchildren; her parents Laura Lee of Bassano, Richard (Bev) Klatt of California and her step-father Alex (Marie) Bakay of Calgary as well as her loving brothers, sisters and extended family.
Rebecca worked as a home care provider in the Hays area and was dedicated to providing the best and loving care to all of her clients, who became some of her best friends. She loved her grandchildren and spent her life trying to provide them with the most caring and loving home when they spent time with her. Her grandchildren were the most important part of her life. Rebecca will be missed by all and will never be forgotten.
