Anna was born October 9, 1925 in Selo Slobitka Chenelivska Ukraine. Anna emigrated along with her husband Joseph from Austria to Southern Alberta in 1948. She was actively involved in early 1950’s farming and being a mother to four sons over the years. She fully supported and was involved in not only rearing her family of four boys but applied herself to the family farm, the butcher shop and added her most dear love to provide the best customer service to clients coming to the family operated custom meat processing business. She took great pride in family gatherings. As wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother she endeared photography and captured every family moment on film for all to enjoy. Anna entertained guests in her home in loving fashion extending an open door to relatives, both local and overseas, a wealth of friends and anyone dropping by for coffee. As a woman, Anna instilled in her family faith in God, work ethic, honesty and love for each other. Her most special smile and loving hugs will be missed, but never forgotten.
