1928 - 2010

Fong Chew Yee, beloved wife of the late Sam Yee, passed away in Taber on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the age of 82 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Yasuo Izumi officiating. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
Fong is survived by her children Henry Yee of Los Angeles, California; Helen (Sil) Cecchini of Calgary and their children Sarah and Michael; Jim Yee of Calgary; Frank (Karen) Yee of Lethbridge and their daughter Candace (Chad) Thomson (their son Hayes).
She was predeceased by her husband Sam in 1963.
Fong was born August 29, 1928 in China. She immigrated to Canada in 1953 and settled in Taber where she has continued to reside until the time of her passing.
