Ed was born May 23, 1925 at Humboldt, Saskatchewan.
Shortly after they were married, Ed and Bernadette moved to Taber where they raised their family. He worked as a Partsman for Perdue Motors and for John Deere for more than twenty five years. Later he drove tank trucks, something he loved doing until his retirement.
Ed was a creative person enjoying wood working, gardening, camping and fishing. Hunting with “his boys” was his passion and led to his being nicknamed “steady Eddy”.
Ed and Bernie loved to travel to far away places which included Alaska, Hawaii and Arizona, having spent several winters in Yuma. He liked nothing better than challenging someone to a game of smear or horse shoes. His love was obvious and abundant for his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed.
