JEANNETTE TYCHSEN

1948 - 2005

Jeannette Wilma Mary Tychsen (nee Cox) of Taber, passed away peacefully after a long, hard battle with cancer at the Taber Hospital on the morning of Thursday, October 20, 2005 at the age of 57 years.
She is survived by her loving son Gordon Tychsen, her mother Hendrika Cox (nee van de Kolk), her brothers Charles (Karen) Cox, Bill (Eileen) Coster, her sister Caroline (James) Haiav and her nephews Philip, Dylan, Jeremy, Jason and Kalvin; as well as numerous extended family members; and all the friends she made throughout her life.
She was predeceased by her father, Charles Melvin Cox in 2000.
Jeannette practiced nursing as a RNA in various Southern Alberta hospitals for many years and took great pride in her work. She enjoyed crafting and made many beautiful crocheted and cross stitched keepsake ornaments such as wedding cake tops and Christmas ornaments. She liked spending time in her yard doing landscaping and gardening. She loved to build and create new and unusual things and was a wonderful seamstress who made anything from elegant doll clothes to wedding gowns. With her big heart and caring personality she was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
The Funeral Service will be held at Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Jim Lochhead officiating.
