EVAN SAWATZKY

2005 - 2005

Evan Joseph Sawatzky, beloved infant son of Kelley and Bonnie Sawatzky of Taber, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, December 23, 2005 at the age of 67 days.
Evan was born on October 18, 2005 at the Calgary Foothills Hospital. Although his life was short, he fought with great strength, determination and the will power to live.... a fighter to the end.
Besides his loving parents Kelly and Bonnie, Evan is survived by his brother Michael; his grandparents David G. and LaVerne Sawatzky of Barnwell and Wilmar and Ruth Shingoose of Lethbridge; great grandmothers Helen Archer of Taber, Helen Shingoose of Yorkton, Saskatchewan and by his great great grandmother Mary Makinson of Taber. Even though his time was brief he will be greatly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and all  those who knew him, in particular his caregivers at the Stollery Children's Hospital.   
The Funeral Service will be held at Knox United Church, 4929-50 Ave., Taber on Thursday, December 29, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Elizabeth Brown officiating. Interment to follow in the Taber Memorial Garden.
