ELSIE SHECK

1918 - 2006

Mrs. Elsie Sheck of Taber, beloved wife of the late Mr. Frank Sheck, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2006 at the age of 87 years.
Elsie was born in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan on July 3, 1918. She married Frank Sheck in 1936 and moved to Taber in 1967. Frank predeceased her in 1997.
Elsie is survived by her best friend Midnight; her children Joyce Whitesel, Andy Sheck (Darlene Hunt), James Sheck and Diane Sheck; daughter-in-law Bonnie (Phil) Wallbank; thirteen grandchildren Tommy, Dwayne (Sandy), Geraldine (Larry), Arlene (Allan), Jeff (Tammy), Kenny (Chantel), Danny (Sandy), Marianna (Jim), Robert, Tammy (Bob), Audrey, Brian (Tammy) and April (Jody); twenty great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; a brother Ed Schweigert; a sister-in-law Lucy Schweigert. Besides her husband Frank, she was predeceased by a son Emmanuel, brothers Alfred and Benny, sisters Lydia, Alma and Freda and son-in-law Dean Whitesel.
Friends are invited for Prayers at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, 5009-48 Ave., Taber on Friday, January 13, 2006 at 8:00 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church on Saturday, January 14 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Mariusz Sztuk SDS Celebrant.  Interment to follow in the Taber Memorial Garden.
