JEAN SENNEKER
1932 - 2006
Giena “Jean” Senneker, beloved wife of George Senneker of Vauxhall, went home to be with her Lord and Savior after passing away at the Taber Hospital on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at the age of 73 years.
Besides George, her loving husband of more than fifty years, Jean is survived by her children Dirk (Joan), Annetta (Ralph) Kraayeveld, Elroy (Lynn), Laura (Tim) Pahl, Alan, Martin (Marilyn), Robert, Olivia and Joey; seventeen grandchildren Aaron, Stephanie, Jessica and Daniel Senneker, Rueben, Coral Rose, Melody and Ember Kraayeveld, Caleb, Rebecca, Joshua and Larissa Rachelle Senneker, Carmen, Christopher and Jaclynn Pahl and April and Brooke Senneker. She is also survived by her siblings Dina Donkersgoed, Betty (Sid) Tordoff, Tina (Harry) Schuld, Albert (Audrey) Kolk, Ben (Adele) Kolk and by her sister-in-law Tina Kolk.
She was predeceased by her son George, her parents John Paul & Hendrikje Kolk, her sister Geziena, brothers Harm, Herman and Albert and by her brother-in-law Bert Donkersgoed.
Jean was born in Lutten, Netherlands on September 10, 1932 to John Paul & Hendrikje Kolk. In April 1951, she immigrated to Canada with her parents and siblings. Jean married George Senneker on December 28, 1954 in Iron Springs. In 1958 they moved to Vauxhall where they raised a large family. Jean’s life was filled with people, friends and family, whom she loved dearly and deeply.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Sunday, May 21, 2006 from 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Vauxhall Mennonite Brethren Church, 320 - 9 Street North, Vauxhall on Monday, May 22, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Elroy Senneker officiating. Interment to follow at the Vauxhall Cemetery.
