AGNES SULLIVAN
1921 - 2006
Agnes Carmen Sullivan, beloved wife of the late Albert Sullivan, of Taber, passed away at the Taber Hospital on Friday, June 16, 2006 at the age of 85 years.
Agnes was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan on April 12, 1921. She met her husband Albert, who served with the Royal Airforce, during the WWII years. They were married on April 16, 1942 and moved to Newfoundland. In 1951 Albert and Agnes and their children came west to Taber. Agnes worked at Petrie’s Pantry for many years and more recently at the Heritage Inn in Taber before she retired. She loved baking, talking to her friends and attending St. Theodore’s Anglican Church. Her cats Lil Putt, Whitey and Scruffy were a loving part of her life.
She will be forever missed by her children Albert (Shirley) Sullivan of Lethbridge, Toni (Al) Luck of Grande Prairie, Mike Sullivan of Taber, Rose (Gary Pidruchny) of Calgary; a grandson Darren Luck and a sister Alice Towle.
She was predeceased by daughter in infancy, husband Albert in 2003, and brothers Clarence and Ralph.
The Funeral Service will be held at St. Theodore’s Anglican Church, 5120 - 44 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Wil Stonehill officiating. Interment to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
