1914 - 2008

Alberto Straga, beloved husband of the late Anne Straga, passed away in Taber on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the age of 94 years.
Albert is survived by his grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jeff) Biddlecombe of Barons, Mary (Dan) Reamsbottom of Lethbridge and Steve (Michele) Straga of Taber; eight great grandchildren, Desiree, Cody, Joel, Kyle, Madison, Tiffany, Tiana and Taylor. He is also survived by two daughters-in-law, Aranka Straga of Taber, Anne Straga of Waterloo, Ontario and by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Anne Straga; sons Steve Straga Sr. and Carl Straga; parents Arcangelo & Angelina Straga; one sister and four brothers.
Relatives and friends are invited for Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Mariusz Sztuk SDS Celebrant. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden. If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Albert’s name may be made directly to the Taber Hospital Foundation (Continuing Care), 4326 - 50 Avenue, Taber, Alberta T1G 1N9.
