GEORGE SEBOK
1939 - 2008
George Sebok, beloved husband of Marilyn Sebok of Taber, passed away, surrounded by his family at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at the age of 69 years.
George was born in Lethbridge May 11, 1939, a son to Gus & Mary Sebok. He received his schooling in Barnwell and Taber. On January 4, 1958, George married Marilyn Jorstad. They farmed south of Taber until the time of his passing. George’s love for his family always came first. His sense of humor made family time full of fun and laughter. George spent his life building up the family farm. Tilling the soil and raising livestock was his true passion in life.
His family meant everything to him and he will be forever loved and remembered by his wife Marilyn and their children, Debra (Adam) Zaluski of Taber and their children Chelsee and Russell; Lori (Tom) Pyne of Lethbridge and their children Melissa and Christopher; Jerry (Roberta) Sebok of Taber and their children Justin, Andrea, Carlyn and Janessa; Glen Sebok of Taber and his children Jordan, Brandt and Adam; Dale (Carlie) Sebok of Taber and their children Josh, Tyrah, Josh, Tara and Brett; Marcy (Derek) Beach of Taber and their children Rebecca and Rylan. He is also survived by two sisters, Grace (Joe) Fabbri of Lethbridge and their family and Ethel (Garry) Harris of Calgary and their family; one sister-in-law Shirley Jorstad and her fam ily, one brother-in-law Ralph (Carol) Jorstad and their family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Gus & Mary Sebok.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, June 20, 2008 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
A private family funeral service will be held. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
