WANDA STOBER

1964 - 2009

 Wanda Stober, beloved wife of Brad Stober of Hays, passed away in Calgary on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at the age of 44 years.
 Besides her loving husband Brad, Wanda is lovingly remembered by her children Johnathan (Lindsay) Stober of Redcliff, Jesse Stober and Cole Stober both of Hays; her mother Grace Guiboche of Winnipeg, her father Gerald Pearson of Calgary and grandmother Verna Cortz. She is survived by her sister Geraldine (Joe) Kress of Sherwood Park and their children Derek, Nicole & Tanner; sister Lorraine (Doug) Arctander of Crossfield and their children Janine & Bryan; brother Gerald Pearson of Calgary. She is also survived by Brad’s parents, John & Alice Stober of Hays; Brad’s sister Del (Ken) Folton of Brooks and their family; Brad’s brother Brent (Angie) Stober of Hays and their family; Brad’s aunt Bea (Vern) Jensen of Medicine Hat as well as by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
 She was predeceased by her sister-in-law Deanna Stober.
 Wanda was born in Redlake, Ontario in 1964. She resided in Thompson, Manitoba until 1974 when she and her family moved to Calgary where she graduated high school. In 1984 she married Bradley Stober and moved to Hays. In 1986 Johnathan was born followed by Jesse in 1989 and Cole in 1991. Her boys were her life. Wanda enjoyed being outside and could always be found watching her sons play sports. She was always volunteering and giving her time to anyone who needed it. She took pride in her work as a teacher’s aid. Wanda also enjoyed spending time with her friend and family. Wanda will be sadly missed and always remembered.
 Relatives and friends are invited for Prayers at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 324 - 2 Avenue North, Vauxhall on Monday, January 26, 2009 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 324 - 2 Avenue North, Vauxhall on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Mariusz Sztuk SDS Celebrant. Burial to follow in the Vauxhall Cemetery.
