VERA LOWEN

1937 - 2006

Mrs. Vera Lowen, beloved wife of Mr. John Lowen of Vauxhall, passed  away in Taber on Thursday, June 1, 2006 at the age of 68 years.
Vera was born at Mullingar, Saskatchewan June 14, 1937 and was the  daughter of Jacob & Esther Thiessen. She married John Lowen May 24,  1957. She worked with the Vauxhall Public Library for a number of  years, retiring in 2003. Vera was a member of T.O.P.S. and enjoyed  gardening.
Besides her husband John, Vera is survived by her three sons Rodney  (Mary) and their children Brandi and Brandon, Ronald (Jeanne) and their daughter Chelsey and Doug. She is also survived by her  brother Jake (Lynn) Thiessen and by numerous members of her extended  family.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the  Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Sunday, June 4,  2006 from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
As was Vera’s request, a private family funeral service (family and  close friends) will be held at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 -  48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, June 5, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Elroy Senneker officiating. Interment to follow at the Vauxhall  Mennonite Cemetery.
