KATHERINE LYNCH
1958 - 2008
It is with great sadness that the family of Katherine Lynch (Galvin) announce her passing at the University of Alberta Hospital, of a cerebral hemorrhage, on August 7, 2008 at the age of 50 years.
Katherine is survived by her loving husband Victor Lynch, sister Eileen McIntyre and her sons Matthew and Justin McIntyre, Aunt Norma Galvin, mother-in-law Jackie Lynch; sisters-in-law Tammy Carter and Sandy Lynch; brothers-in-law John, Keith and Glen Lynch; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends as well as relatives in England. She was predeceased by her parents Joan and Bill Galvin of Taber.
Katherine has resided in Fort McMurray for the past twelve years. She will always be remembered by her family and friends for her ability to meet life’s challenges with an upbeat attitude, smile and twinkling eyes.
A private family service will be held in Taber with burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 3 Hospital Street, Fort McMurray on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. with Deacon Raymond Chan officiating.
