DANNY KERKHOFF

1954 - 2004

Danny Neal Kerkhoff, beloved husband of Sharon Kerkhoff of Taber, passed away in Lethbridge on Sunday, August 29, 2004 at the age of 49 years.
Danny was born on September 28, 1954 in Taber, the fifth child  of Everett and Larine Kerkhoff.  He was raised in Taber where he received his schooling.  On April 28, 1972 he married Sharon Archer. Danny took over the family farm which he operated until the time of his passing. While farming he also worked in the oil patch for a number of years.  Danny was active in curling, hockey and competitive sports. In his younger years he trained as a  Boxer and won the Golden Gloves.
Danny will be sadly missed by his wife Sharon, his parents Everett and Larine Kerkhoff, sons Todd (Laurie) and Cory (Katie Szoke) and granddaughter Morgan all of Taber; brothers and sisters Gary (Gwen) Kerkhoff of Taber, Bonnie (Roy) Smith of Coaldale, LaVonne Andrus of Lethbridge, Marilyn (Robert) Perini of Brooks and Sandra Olson (Jim Summers) of Nanton and also by numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by Sharon's mother Helen Archer and Sharon's four sisters and their families.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709-50 Ave., on Thursday, September 2, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. with Bishop Ray Gardner conducting.  
Relatives and friends are invited to meet the family in the Relief Society Room of the Church from 12:30 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. prior to the service.
