KATHARINA KUTANZI

1928 - 2005

Katharina Kutanzi (nee Saler), beloved wife of John Kutanzi, passed away at the Taber Hospital on Thursday October 20, 2005 at the age of 77 years.  
Mom was born September 25, 1928 in Slatinik, Croatia. She immigrated to Canada with her husband John and infant son John in 1953. Mom's joy in life was her family. Her hobbies were her garden, baking for her family and her grandchildren. Her homemade soup was the best and will be missed.   
Besides John, her loving husband of fifty four years, Katharina will be remembered by her five sons John (Bev), Steve (Tona), Nick (Brenda), Joe (Wendy) and Michael (Johanna Jergensen), fourteen grandchildren Ryan, Scott, Shila (Scott) Sowell, Trisha (Shand) Watson, Tandy (Kris) Jones, Jarrett (Alana), Renae, Jayden, Breanne, Ethan, Heather, Kristy, Cheryl and Curtis, seven great grandchildren, three brothers Steve (Nellie) Saler of Lethbridge, John (Linda) Saler of Coadale and Anthony Saler of Toronto, one sister Mary (Simon) Resch of Toronto as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  
Mom was predeceased by her parents Nikolaus and Katharina Saler and her youngest brother Nikolaus Saler.    
Relatives and friends are invited for Prayers at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, October 24, 2005 at 7:00 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Tito Ranola Celebrant. Interment to follow in the Taber Memorial Garden.
