JOSEPH KARL

1909 - 2007

Mr. Joe Karl, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Maria Karl, passed away in Lethbridge on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at the age of 98 years.
Joe was born at Toranj, Slavonia, Croatia on February 27, 1909.  He married Maria Bina on January 6, 1932.  On May 21, 1956 they immigrated to Canada and farmed in the Taber area until 1972 when they moved into the Town of Taber.
Joe is survived by two sons and seven grandchildren; Frank (Maria) Karl and their children Kathy (Brad), Annie, Steven (Malisa), Paul (Leslie) and Chris; Joe (Carol) Karl and their children Brad (Sarah) and Scott (Leanne) and also by numerous great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter Kathy Chalupka.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Mariusz Sztuk Celebrant.  Interment will follow in the Taber Memorial Garden.
