He was predeceased by their honeymoon cat children Edward and Robert Fedoruk.

David was born in Bow Island on October 31, 1976 and lived and worked in the Taber area. He attended St. Mary’s school, graduating in 1994. After completing high school, he received a diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1997. David was a battery operator for Renaissance, Husky and CNRL for over twenty five years.

Family has always been an integral part of his life, he loved to tease and torment his younger siblings, Jamie and Dwayne, but was the first one there to protect and defend them if they needed him. He shared a special bond with his parents Jane and Kevin.

Travelling with Doemonica, was one of his passions in life. A particularly memorable trip was to England, where they met up with friends they had met online playing Destiny. They would often travel to different sporting venues in the United States, camp with family or just hit the road in their Mustang.

He spent countless hours with friends playing and watching hockey, baseball, basketball and video gaming. David and his brother-in-law Kourteney, shared a love of playing video games, especially Street Fighter. He was a proud “Chump” of the 2023 Royal Golf Tournament and member of the Tankers. David was part of the Champions of the B Taber Softball League in 2024. He was a devoted fan of the Edmonton Oilers, Ford Mustangs and his cats.

David had an eclectic taste in music and would often troll the D.A.C.’s jukebox for music by Tool or Metallica. Doemonica was always included in Metallica and Tool concert experiences. David’s other talents included the chicken dance, singing Alanis Morissette karaoke and making everyone laugh. He had a purpose in life and that was to bring out the best in everyone around him. He would want you to smile, open up your heart, love … and carry on.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes in David’s name may be made directly to the Taber and District Health Foundation (for palliative care room), 4326 - 50 Avenue, Taber, Alberta T1G 1N9 www.tdhf.ca.
