1940 - 2025

Joseph Tyrone Pupp, beloved husband of Joan for sixty three years, passed away in Calgary on Monday, January 6, 2025 at the age of 84 years.

The Funeral Service was held at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. with Life Celebrant Shelly Bassett officiating. A committal service followed at the Taber Memorial Garden columbarium.

Besides his loving wife Joan, Joe is survived by his daughter Deidra Pupp (Bruce) of Innisfil, Ontario; three sons Kendall Pupp (Meagin) of Calgary, Scott (Cindy) Pupp of Calgary and Brett (Dr. Corry) Pupp of McKinney, Texas; seven grandchildren Connor, Brady, Haley, Riley, Kenna, Kenley and Cohen.

He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Esther; brothers Alex Pupp and Bill Pupp; sisters-in-law Joan Pupp and Terry Pupp.

Joe was born in Montreal, Quebec but spent his youth and early adult years in the Taber area. He attended college in Lethbridge and the University of Alberta earning his Commerce Degree and raising four kids while he finished his education. After graduating, Joe and Joan moved the family to Calgary where they built a life with kids in multiple sports and a circle of friends. Joe had a long career at Amoco Canada. After retirement, Joe spent spare time golfing, camping and enjoying time with family and friends.
