Fay Verwimp

Fay Louise Verwimp, beloved wife of Joe Verwimp, passed away peacefully in Taber on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at the age of 87 years.

Fay will be privately remembered.

Fay is survived by her husband Joe and brother Norman (Ruby) Marose.

She was predeceased by her parents Elmer and Janet Marose; siblings and their spouses Allan (Emily) Marose, Douglas (Dora) Marose, Edith (Fred) Holstine, Laureta (Don) Chapman and Dorothy (Garth) Johnson.

 Fay was born September 23, 1937 in Lethbridge to Elmer and Janet Marose. She was married to Joe for sixty seven years and spent the last forty four on the farm south of Barnwell. Fay and Joe did not have any children but opened their home to all of their nieces and nephews, spending countless days on the farm with them. Especially her sister Dorothy’s sons Larry and Stan and her sister Laureta’s daughter Kathy who came to live with them for many years.
