Sharon Ann Wallace, passed away in Taber on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at the age of 80 years.

The Funeral Service was held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6002 - 51 Street, Taber on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 1:30 PM.

Sharon is survived by her children Mark (Lee-Ann) Wallace of Sooke, British Columbia and Stacy (Tony) Wyssen of Quesnel, British Columbia; grandchildren Brennan Strom, Tristen Wallace, Braxton Wyssen and Taya Wyssen; sister-in-law Bernice DeBlanc; nephews Brian (Julia) and Steven (Veronica); niece Diana DeBlanc.

She was predeceased by her son Scott Wallace and brother Bruce DeBlanc.

Sharon was born in Covington, Kentucky on May 17, 1944 to George and Ruby DeBlanc. She was raised in Denver, Colorado, graduating with honours from Colorado State University. After moving to Canada, she began raising her family. She moved to Taber in 1970 and shortly after she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Sharon continued devoted to her faith and family up until her passing on July 11. She will be remembered as a gentle and caring person who loved animals, working in her yard, word games and who later developed a new interest in painting. Sharon was a loyal friend and maintained many long term friendships going back decades. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
