TROY KALLEN

1977 - 2008

Troy Adam Ernest Kallen, born December 9, 1977, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 3, 2008 at the age of 30 years.
He is survived by his son Trey and by Trey’s mother Joanne (nee Birch) of Lethbridge; parents Hubert (Karen) Kallen of Tilley and Betty (Marlin) Hill of Vauxhall; grandparents Ernest & Agnes Howlett of Vauxhall, Jean Hill of Lethbridge; sister Charmaine (Eyrin) Nelson of Taber and their children Alex and Austan; Teresa (Leyton) Clark of Morinville and their son Jaxson as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and the Birch family.
He was predeceased by his brother Dustan Kallen; grandparents Adam & Irma Kallen, Donald (Scotty) Hill, Carl & Mickey Nelson; great grandparents Ralph & Emily Dorma.
Troy loved being a Dad, most important to him was his time spent with Trey. Trey was Troy’s pride and joy. Troy took the time to teach him life skills, if it be manners, how to ride his motor bike and quad, to change the oil in “Dad’s” truck or tie a fish hook on to his rod. Troy adored his family and friends and spent every moment sharing life, love and laughs with them. Troy’s passion was music, whether it be jamming with the boys, singing or dancing. He also enjoyed sledding, quadding, camping and the great outdoors. Troy loved his work especially if it was challenging. Troy lived life with enthusiasm and never wanted to miss a moment. He will be remembered for his happy go lucky personality and love of life.
Relatives and friends are invited for Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 324 - 2 Avenue North, Vauxhall on Friday, November 7, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Mariusz Sztuk SDS Celebrant. Burial to follow in the Vauxhall Cemetery.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Troy’s name may be made directly to a trust fund which has been designated for Trey. Contributions may be made at any branch of ATB Financial.
