Marilyn Leismeister

1956 - 2023

Marilyn Diane Leismeister, beloved wife of Collin Leismeister, passed away peacefully in Taber, surrounded by family, on Monday, December 25, 2023 at the age of 67 years.

The Funeral Service was held at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. with Life Celebrant Shelly Bassett officiating. Burial followed at Taber Memorial Garden. 

Marilyn will be lovingly remembered by her husband Collin; children Ryan (Laura) Leismeister and Carrie (Michael) Wilson; grandchildren Clay (Chayla) Leismeister, Makenna Leismeister, Kasen (Mackenzie) Lyczewski, Karter Lyczewski and Sydney Leismeister; brother Darrell (Jo-Anne) Christensen; sisters Connie (Dan) Oberholtzer, Glenda (Don) Hepworth and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Marvin and Louise Christensen and her in-laws Vince, Dorothy and Ramona Leismeister and her niece, Marissa Christensen.

Marilyn was born in Lethbridge on April 18, 1956. She lived on the family farm in Wrentham before moving to Taber, where she has resided until her passing. Her greatest love was her family and she was so proud of all their accomplishments. Marilyn also had a great love of animals, especially cats.
