Duane Olson

1952 - 2023

Duane Stanley Olson, passed away in Bow Island on Friday, July 28, 2023 at the age of 70 years.

A celebration of Duane's life was held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 202 - 5 Avenue East, Bow Island on Thursday, August 3, 2023 between 1:00 P.M. and 3:00 P.M.

Duane is survived by his sister Eleanor, close friend Iris, son Jason, daughter Jennifer (Adam), son Blake (Leslie) as well as his four granddaughters.

He was predeceased by his parents John and Doris and his brothers Darryl and Kenny.

Duane was born in Taber on September 8, 1952. He was a farmer at heart and enjoyed camping, working on cars, tinkering in the garage and taking care of those closest to him.

Duane's family would like to offer a special thank you to the Bow Island Fire Department and EMS.
