Lucy Krisco

1945 - 2023

It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Lucy Krisco (née Skikiewich), mourn her passing in St. Albert on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at the age of 78 years.

A reception was held in St. Albert on Saturday, July 22, 2023.

A private Burial Service was held at Taber Memorial Garden on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

She will be loving remembered by her nephews Alan (Kris) Prus and James Prus, her niece Carolyn (Todd) Maruyama along with numerous relatives and friends.

Besides Nestor Krisco, her loving husband of forty years, Lucy was predeceased by her parents Ben and Antonia Skikiewich, her brother Allen Skikiewich, sister Ellen Prus and by her niece Linda Wesley (née Prus).

Lucy belonged to the Alberta Horticultural Association and St. Albert and area Retired Teacher’s Association. She enjoyed her backyard and getting together with her gardening friends and helping out with various horticultural shows. Lucy was known for winning “best in show” and numerous first places for flower arrangements and vegetables. She also enjoyed traveling, camping, and taking pictures of her adventures.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Lucy’s name may be made directly to the charity of one’s personal choice.
