Linda had a real love of horses. Despite two big injuries because of horses she didn't let that diminish her love for them. Once she had her arm broken by a horse rearing up and she carried a scar under her bottom lip from where she was kicked by a horse at a young age.
Linda was extremely hospitable. Many will remember the many congregation get togethers at their farms. Linda loved to play ball so there was always a lively game of softball included in which Linda wholeheartedly participated in.
They moved around a lot in their married life, but the blessings they received from that were numerous life long friends.
Linda had a good work ethic. Many will remember her from working in the bedding department of Eaton's for sixteen years. She always had a smile to greet you with.
She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on May 22, 1952. Linda always had the goal of being a pioneer, but her goal was sidetracked when she met the love of her life, Ed. They were married December 25, 1955 and proceeded to have a large family. But she kept spiritual goals before her all the time. She was able to achieve her original goal of pioneering in her 80's. That gave her great joy and purpose in life.
She was a zealous proclaimer of the good news and many will fondly remember service days with her.
We look forward to the time when we can make new memories together with Linda and enjoy life forever.
