1986 - 2021
Dylon Russell Kozniuk, passed away unexpectedly in Lethbridge on Friday, March 5, 2021 at the age of 35 years.
As a result of the restrictions regarding COVID-19 and the government recommendations, a private funeral service was held at Southland Funeral Chapel, Taber on Friday, March 12, 2021 with Shelly Bassett officiating. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
Besides his loving partner Serena Sincennes, her daughter Raeanne and their daughter Riley, Dylon is survived by his daughter Morgan and her mother Nicole Jeffrey and his son Troy and his mother Deborah Kidd. He is also survived by his mother Bev Ehret, his father Dan Kozniuk and by his sister Nichole (Rich) Nagai and their family.
Dylon was born in Olds on January 4, 1986. He moved to Taber with his family in 1996 and after high school, started working in the oil patch as a heavy hauling swamper. Soon after, he started roughnecking on a drilling rig and eventually moving his way up to be a derrick-hand, the position he held at the time of his passing.
Dylon loved hunting, camping, 4X4ing and the outdoors. He was a master tinkerer and a known prankster. His true love in life were his children.
