Darlene Freeborn

1938 - 2020

 Phyllis Darlene Freeborn, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully in Taber on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the age of 82 years.

 Darlene is survived by her sons Emory Freeborn of Warner and Michael Freeborn of Swift Current; grandchildren Vincent and Malory; great grandchildren Talia and Nixon. She is also survived by her sisters Laura Reddekop, Lavera Shealy, Juverna Suttil; brothers Wayne Giesbrecht and Wiley Giesbrecht and numerous nieces and nephews.

 She was predeceased by her beloved husband of sixty one years Paul Freeborn; mother Sarah Giesbrecht and father David Giesbrecht

 Darlene was born in Swift Current on April 18, 1938. After raising her family, Darlene pursued a career in security, working at the airport and stores. Following that she was employed at the Lethbridge Correctional Centre as a prison guard until her retirement.

 Darlene enjoyed the years that she and Paul were able to spend their retirement in Arizona. She loved time spent with family, friends and her little dog Chico. Darlene will be missed dearly by all her family and friends.

 Darlene will be privately remembered by her family and friends.
