DAVID FRIESEN

1915 - 2006

David Friesen of Taber, passed away at the Taber Hospital on Sunday, January 1, 2006 at the age of 90 years.
David was born October 19, 1915 in Schumanovka, Slavgarode, Russia. He immigrated to Canada with his parents in 1925. He served in the Canadian Army during World War II. He resided in British Columbia for a number of years. In 1987, he moved to Taber where he has resided until his passing.
David is survived by his sisters Margaret, Louise and Tina, his brothers Jacob and John, his sister-in-law Yvonne and by many nieces and nephews.  
He was predeceased by his wife Iva, his parents David and Louise, his sister Helen and her husband Peter Harder, his brother Peter, his sister-in-law Annie, his brother-in-law John Rielkoff and by two brothers and two sisters in infancy.
A private family graveside service was held at the Taber Memorial Garden on Wednesday, January 4, 2006.
