Wayne Peters

1957 - 2016

Sheldon Philip Wayne Peters, passed away near Vauxhall on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the age of 58 years.

 Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Sunday, February 28, 2016 between 3:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M.

 The Funeral Service was held at the Hays Community Hall, Hays on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. A private burial service was held at the Vauxhall Mennonite Cemetery. 

 Wayne is survived by his fiancée Barb Leader; children Jenilee (Brandon) Tarasoff of Cayley, Dustin (Ashley) Peters of Coaldale (his son Colton), Brady (Becky) Peters of Taber and Warren Peters of Hays; two soon to be born grandchildren due in May and June. He is also survived by his siblings Ernie (Norma) Peters, Lorraine (Bob) Dykstra, John (Helen) Peters and Gary (Carolin) Peters as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 He was predeceased by his parents Valentine and George Peters and nephew Darren Epp.

 Wayne was born December 24, 1957 in Killarney, Manitoba to George and Valentine Peters. His passions in life included family, the outdoors, farming, racing (both organized and unorganized) and his political convictions. He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his family and friends.
